Whelp! It's that time of year again! October is such a wonderful time~ with all the leaves changing and falling all over people's yards, the cool weather starting to kick in a bit, and HALLOWEEN of course!!!

Ive seen dozens of horror movies (plenty of which I shouldnt have when I was young) and I just thought it would be cool to share them with you if you are interested!
WARNING!!! MANY OF THESE MOVIES WILL HAVE NUDITY, MATURE LANGUAGE, AND OR EXTREME BLOODY VIOLENCE, SO PLEASE DONT WATCH THE WITH OR AROUND CHILDREN!!! ;v; (Dont want to scare them or anything...)

1. Trick R' Treat- Five different stories awesomly woven together that occur on the same street, on the same day: Halloween! This movie will leave you awestruck (yet creeped out by the lil weird sack doll kid XD) though out the entire thing, it's a MUST see, you wont be let down!

2. 9 Dead- I not sure if this counts as a 'Horror' movie, but it's cool anyways! 9 people are kidnapped and handcuffed within a single room. The kidnapper tells them he will kill a person every ten minutes unless they tell him what they all have in common. All 9 strangers know little to nothing about each other, and its a race against time for their lives... The ending pissed me off really badly, but it has a great suspenseful thee to it that keeps you guessing through out the movie!

3. VHS1/VHS2- (It doesnt really matter which one you see first actually...) The main plot behind these films, are that a group of people are given a job, come across a stack of TV's with piles of VHS tapes around them. Within these tapes are some pretty unexpected stuff (murders, ghosts, aliens, zombies, demons~) (I like these type of horror movies because of the way they are filmed, like Cloverfield!)

4. 1408- A movie starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. John plays as a writer who travels to different hotels/houses that are said to be haunted. After years of 'experience' in the paranormal activity, the cocky man takes no second thought in his next destination: The Dolphin Hotel; Room 1408. Hotel Staff and Manager (Samuel J.) try every way to persuade him out of the room, but to no avail. After the door closes, the fun begins...
This movie takes place in only one room for the most part, and its pretty trippy!
(WARNING!: MOVIE CONTAINS MILD MATURE LANGUAGE...... and that's pretty much it. I think it's safe for kids to watch! ^-^)

5. REC 1 & 2- (The english version of this movie is actually called Quarentine, but it really doesnt matter which version you watch, just different actors...) A reporter and her cameraman start out with a simple interview of a fire station. When a call comes in about an apartment building, they tag along to collect footage of fireman in action. Only on arrival does things turn for the worst. An epic zombie movie I must say! (It's in Spanish for both parts, but you can find them in subtitles online.)

6. Session 9- This movie gets you thinking. Some of you may not get it, and you have to watch the whole thing to understand really. A group of men are hired to do some clean-up work on an abandoned asylum. One of them stumbles across recordings labeled "Session 9" about a session with one of the asylums past patients. There isnt anything too graphic about this particular movie until the very end.

7. Sweeny Todd- I LOVE THIS MOVIE TO DEATH OMG ASDFGHJKL- ahem. This is pretty much an awesome horror musical (a horror mixed with Disney really) With the sexy Johnny Depp playing as a barber named Sweeny Todd (or Benjamin Barker). With his sidekick Helena Carter (who else?! XD) as Ms. Lovett, they go on a massive killing spree, using the dead bodies as grinded meat that is put into Ms. Lovetts pies. This movie also has a sprinkle of romance and revenge invovled, but all together a great story.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnd~ There you have it! there are many more good movies out there that arent listed, but if you have one, do say so! I might even give it a look!
